Linux Engineering Manager

About the role:

You will lead our newly created Edge Platform Engineering Team, as a hands-on manager who has a real understanding of operating in a high scale/high volume and high availability environment. 

This is an exciting greenfield project that will have impact at the core of the internet in the UK and beyond. You and your team will design and build high scale critical national infrastructure and government secure services.

The essential bits:

You will have extensive experience working on Linux servers, preferably RedHat V7 onwards. Demonstrable leadership experience, managing teams to coach support and mentor them but also be a critical path of the technical leadership and direction of the platform. 

A Linux expert, ideally with Red Hat, even better an RHCE but we recognise that’s a tall ask and would welcome applications who aren’t RHCE but have great Red Hat experience.
