About the role:  
You will have responsibility for the organisation, management, and delivery of in person as well as virtual events. Leading on corporate, internal and trade events including 1-day conferences, webinars, internal social events and exhibition stands. You will be the sole event executive in our Corporate Affairs team, giving you great scope to own projects from start to finish, as well as the opportunity to input on strategy and improvements. You will work with senior level stakeholders and Nominet staff across the business, building great internal relationships to deliver high quality results.
The essential bits:  

Taking ownership of the internal events calendar, keeping projects on track and to deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective processes and communication throughout. Working closely with internal stakeholders, agreeing objectives, and ensuring expectations are managed. This also includes managing a range of suppliers including kit management, merchandise suppliers, venue, and printers,
You’ll also develop and research concepts for new events, including venue assessment and selection. Working with the creative and marketing teams, you ensure marketing materials are briefed and created. Liaise with relevant business units for content creation and delivery including social media, e-mail campaigns and blogs.
About you and your experience:  


It almost goes without saying that you will have genuine enthusiasm and passion for delivering great events, as well as demonstrable experience of successfully managing a range of hybrid and virtual conferences, meetings, and exhibitions.
You have excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring messages are consistent in terms of strategy and brand. But you are also someone who is innovative and creative in your approach.
We are looking for experience of taking details of requirements, researching topics, analysing data, creating detailed briefs and presenting your plan to key stakeholders.
