About the role: 

 

This is a maternity cover position for 12 months. We would consider reduced hours for this role.

 

As Nominet continues to expand, so too does the need for timely and accurate financial reporting and insights – this role will be pivotal in partnering the business and fellow Finance team members to provide and develop critical management information and insights to support numerous key IT infrastructure projects that we’re working through at the moment. You will be providing analytics, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting and deep insights into business units’ / areas’ performance, to drive reporting clarity and understanding of its cost base, drive accurate cost allocations to other business units and support in optimising ROI.

 

The essential bits: 

 

You thrive on the intricacies of numbers of course but know the balance of working with people and understanding the necessity of building relationships.

 

You will have demonstrable experience of working at pace with financial and management data to support deeper understanding of issues and trends as well as help keep out major IT infrastructure projects on budget. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly management reporting and cost center reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial support to our IT projects
  • Supporting cost allocations and procurement processes
  • Staff utilisation and productivity reporting

 

This role would suit a candidate with a desire to add value through their reporting & analytical experience looking to growth their career in Finance.

 

About you and your experience: 

 

You will have strong attention to detail; takes pride in the accuracy with an ability to quickly build & maintain effective working relationships. You will have strong reporting presentation skills – ability to articulate financial information to multiple stakeholders in varying depths.
