About the role:


As our Internal Comms Manager, you’ll be working across the Corporate Affairs Team and the wider organization, taking responsibility for delivering an internal communications programme that ensures the company’s purpose, performance and progress are communicated and understood across the organisation. You’ll develop and execute the internal communications framework that ensures key information is shared and understood across the business, interface with key stakeholders & business areas to ensure that internal communication materials are effective and develop new and innovative ways to engage with employees.


You will help to promote a performance culture within the organisation, and externally you will drive a programme to ensure the Employee Value Proposition is communicated across our owned media channels. We want to ensure everyone who works here has a sense of pride about the breadth of Nominet’s contribution to the wider world. 


The essential bits:


You should have proven experience in delivering and managing internal communication channels, as well as experience in creating a content workflow. You’ll be confident in your ability to create effective internal communication campaigns and can demonstrate examples of strengthening an internal communications function. It goes without saying that you’ll be engaging and creative, be able to turn ideas into engaging communications and campaigns and have a true passion for communicating & storytelling.


About you and what you need to be successful:


To be successful in the role, you’ll be solutions focused, able to solve problems and look for ways to influence positive change within the organisation. You’ll need to show adaptability and be able to take onboard different perspectives and ideas when developing our communication approaches. You should be a confident and credible communicator with first-rate written and verbal communication skills and also have the ability to plan and prioritise conflicting tasks.
