About the role: 

  

A Financial Audit specialist that delivers internal audits that examine and report on Nominet’s financial, corporate governance and risk management practices.  Your audits will comply with applicable standards, regulations, and guidance, and your findings will be fair, impartial, and useful.  This role will provide thought leadership on financial control best practices and as a qualified internal audit professional you will provide assurance on financial accuracy, internal controls and regulatory compliance  

  

About you and what you need to be successful: 

  

  • Qualified internal auditor with expert financial record examination skills, and up-to-date financial auditing experience.
  • Four years of work experience in a financial internal audit environment.
  • Certified with the Institute of Internal Auditors, or equivalent.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interviewer and investigator.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Well presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
