About the role   


We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join Nominet in our Registry arm of the business. You will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can confidently steer the direction of our products based on both current and future business challenges our customers face - ensuring we continue to offer best in class products.   


You will effectively manage the product lifecycle working closely with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery against commitments and delivery of value to the customers.  


You will manage the product backlog(s), prioritisation and contribution the agile development lifecycle within multiple software development teams.  


The essential bits   


It is essential that you have experience of working as part of a large project team to deliver customer projects, working with users and customers to gather feedback and test ideas and a high degree of commercial acumen.  


You will have experience as a product manager where you have worked with one or more engineering teams and ideally knowledge of DNS/other internet technologies or coming from a technology focused enviornment.  


About you and your experience   


You will have a background working in a product management and have strong communication skills, with the ability to own defined components or features. You will have experience of defining and articulating product requirements to allow technical requirements and solutions matched to them. Demonstrable experience of working closely with teams to determine a prioritised, value driven roadmap for products and experience of owning your product roadmap.  


This is a team that truly punches above its weight in terms of output, you’ll be joining peers that work in a small collaborative environment, you will be able to demonstrate a level of perseverance and resilience to see tasks through to completion and a proactive way in which to approach challenges. 


A natural born collaborator, someone who is a community builder and passionate about sharing best practices with a growth mindset. You will be a critical thinker who enjoys thinking of novel approaches to a unique issues and work well in an environment that, at times, can be ambiguous.
