We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who will work in collaboration with the Content and Communications Lead to help deliver Nominet’s content marketing, paid advertising and social media strategies across the Registry Services business unit. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of content production, publishing and reporting, working with both our internal creative team and liaising with external partners. Content production will comprise both authoring and briefing the production of content to external copywriters or agency partners, so a flair for writing is required as well as strong briefing and project management skills.


You will also be responsible for creating, publishing and reporting on content and paid performance in alignment with our content and paid strategies and activation plans across our websites, social media platforms and third party sites/partnerships. As such you will implement and report on paid advertising for social and PPC and you'll support with copywriting and editing across our websites and marketing materials.




  • Co-ordinate activities in line with the wider marketing strategies, running integrated content campaigns to help reach set objectives
  • Manage and maintain the content plans across the Registry services business unit. Write optimised content for our websites, track and report on the effectiveness of content across different platforms and provide analysis of this along with recommendations for future campaigns and activity
  • Work with the Content and Communication Lead on the shape and direction of social media strategy across the Registry services business unit.
  • Responsibility of the day-to-day management of social media activity  including paid and reporting
  • Own the content creation process, taking detailed briefs from the relevant areas of the business and providing comprehensive briefs to third parties when relevant, then managing the creation of this content through to completion
  • Responsible for the quality of the content produced, critically appraising content created both internally and externally so that it meets the brief and is optimised for the intended broadcast platform
  • Use the CMS (WordPress) to help maintain website content, to ensure it stays up-to-date, relevant and engaging as per guidance provided by Content and Communications Lead
  • Responsible for working with the Content and Communications lead to design and implement paid advertising campaigns using search, display and remarketing strategies, and keeping within budgets
  • Use email marketing/automation tools to support the Content and Communications Lead by developing and delivering email marketing campaigns and communications on behalf of stakeholders across the business
  • Monitor trends in the digital marketing industry at large
  • Analyse campaign data and results in order to drive improvements
  • Support all areas of the content team responsibilities as appropriate
