We have a great opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager who will help further the talent agenda here at Nominet. Great tech talent is in high demand, and so we are looking for someone who will relish the challenge to attract and hire the best talent for both today and tomorrow, whilst ensuring a great candidate experience.

You’ll deliver sophisticated candidate and stakeholder management supporting the entire recruiting process. You’ll be an advisor who uses market insights to deliver a variety of solutions to source talent at all levels of the organisation. You’ll bring new methods and/or ideas to elevate Nominet’s employer brand and we encourage you to think of innovative approaches to add value to the recruitment process.

 

But there’s a whole lot more to this role too.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Developing an effective resourcing strategy to deliver the key talent needs for the organisation from a wide range of diverse candidates
  • Ensure that the team are providing a first-class candidate experience, regardless of the outcome of the application.  Working with the team to demonstrate best practice in candidate management.
  • Responsible for working with the HR Ops manager to produce recruitment campaign metrics to provide insight to the HRBPs and the Business Unit.
  • Working alongside the HR team and Corporate Communications Executive on the EVP strategy to raise the profile and brand of Nominet for all talent categories through appropriate channels and campaigns.
  • Manage third party agencies and providers in collaboration with the HRBPs and Director of HR.  Facilitate QBRs to update strategic partners on business priorities, gain insight into the industry and external environment. (Recruitment and Development partners)
  • Working with the HRBPs to understand the business unit/department resourcing requirements and working with the team to ensure a professional, best practice and all vacancies allocated appropriately. 
  • Developing candidate talent pools through our CRM, networking events, recruitment fairs and other tools.  Building the capability in the team to develop their own talent pools to attract direct candidates to Nominet and therefore reducing reliance on Agencies.
  • Working on campaigns and providing End to End recruitment service to the business.
  • Managing the Applicant Tracking System and Recruitment Marketing site (SuccessFactors).  Ensuring that the team are using all tools as effectively as possible to manage talent pipelines, candidate information and resourcing data to drive insight and action.
  • Proactively sourcing and headhunting active & passive candidates by using our ATS, LinkedIn and various sourcing channels & techniques.  Looking at developing and introducing additional channels that are appropriate to bring the best talent to Nominet

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Aside from being an enthusiastic and driven HR professional, we are looking for a team player who can manage a direct report and work as part of the wider HR team. Lastly to have impact in this role communication as you would expect is key, flexing your style as and when needed either internally or externally.
 

  • Previous experience of working within senior recruitment role
  • Relationship Management – establishing, sustaining and leveraging strong on-going customer relationships with stakeholders, candidates and recruitment partners and suppliers
  • Passionate about recruitment and delivering the best talent at all levels
  • Experience of managing talent strategies
  • Written communication skills to produce focused concise correspondence
  • A good influencer and understands the importance of stakeholder management and setting clear and realistic expectations
  • Professional and credible
  • Proficient IT skills- including experience with an ATS (Success factors)
  • A self-starter, a team player and well organised
  • Experience of working in the technology industry (desirable) 
  • Confidence to work across all levels of the business
