The Role:
We are looking for a Head of Campaigns to help tell our story and engage key audiences.
As Head of Campaigns, you will lead the development and execution of integrated, high-impact campaigns that build Nominet’s brand, support strategic change programmes, and drive engagement across multiple stakeholders. You will harness specialist expertise around the business to tell a coherent, credible, and compelling story about who we are and the value we bring.
This role is pivotal in aligning campaign efforts with our strategic goals, driving consistency and excellence across all touchpoints and ensuring measurable impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
Campaign Strategy & Execution

Shape and lead integrated engagement campaigns to support strategic priorities

Coordinate cross-functional corporate campaign delivery that reaches multiple audience groups (for example: members, policymakers, employees).

Develop campaign plans with clear objectives, messaging, tactics, timelines, KPIs, and budget oversight.
Content, Research & Thought Leadership

Lead the development of original content, including thought leadership, whitepapers, and research reports, to position Nominet as a trusted voice in the domain name industry and the internet community

Translate complex technical or strategic themes into compelling, audience-appropriate narratives.
Creative, Events & Brand Oversight

Oversee the in-house creative team to ensure consistent brand expression across all media and channels.

Lead the planning and execution of Nominet-led events, public benefit and sponsorship activities to enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Digital & Web

Own the company website as a key engagement and brand platform, ensuring it reflects campaign priorities and delivers an excellent user experience.

Collaborate on SEO, analytics, and content strategies to optimise visibility and impact.
Internal Communications

Work with internal stakeholders to plan and deliver effective internal communications that align with external messaging and support change programmes.

Develop campaigns that inform, engage, and inspire employees around strategic priorities.
Corporate Reporting & Stakeholder Communications

Lead the production of compelling reporting of our contribution through corporate publications, ensuring alignment with brand and strategy

Support the delivery of transparent and timely communications to key stakeholders.
About You:
Essential:
- Proven experience in senior campaign, brand, or communications roles, ideally in a purpose-led, regulated, or technology-focused environment.
- Track record of delivering successful integrated campaigns across multiple audiences and channels.
- Skilled in leading creative teams, agency relationships, and event delivery.
- Strong understanding of digital content strategy, UX, SEO, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear narratives.
Nice to have:
- Experience in corporate reporting and governance communications.
- Budget management and reporting expertise.
